DownTown River Jam April 17

The Downtown River Jam, presented by the Jim Taylor Auto Group, returns Thursday, April 6th, from 6 to 9 PM. This free concert series is backed by the Downtown Monroe Alliance and it features three bands all
hailing from Northeast Louisiana, including Astro Motel, Tito and the Fabulous Freeloaders, and Jig the Alien! The performances will be held in Henry Bry Park on the Skent-N-Dent stage. Choice Brands will be offering free beer samples and the Main Street Eats on the Geaux food truck will be present serving up all kinds of delicious eats from boudin balls to meaty burgers and club sandwiches.
Astro Motel is a four piece Rocka-Boogie band from Monroe, LA. They are currently on tour, and recently came out with a CD. They just want to give people music to dance along to !

Coffee and Tea Festival

Coffee and Tea festival is going to be a great time! Come out with all your friends to sample different coffees and teas from BeanFruit, Boona Bean, Caster & Chicory, Community Coffee, Immersed, Miss Kay’s Sweets & Eats, Organo, Railway Coffee, Rhino Coffee, and Starbucks Coffee. Tickets are $10 to sample drinks from all these wonderful companies! Tastings will be from 11-3pm!
This day will also be about connecting with all the different non-profits and organizations in Ouachita Parish that better our community every day. Learn of how you can help your community over coffee and tea.

River Rumble

Bacardi presents the second annual River RUMble. This event features the area’s hottest bars and restaurants competing to be declared number one with a bottle of rum. Competitors will craft their most delicious rum punch for a chance to win bragging rights. Ticketholders will get to enjoy samples and vote for their favorite crafted drink!
Competitors include:

Annual Event WoofStock

It’s all about Peace, Love and Paws! KTVE/KARD and DeltaStyle Magazine present Woofstock! This fun day will be filled with unique shopping, great food, fun contests, groovy activities and refreshments for your pup as well as the whole family . Local rescues, vets, pet stores, and shelters will be joining us and our RiverMarket Vendors to share their low cost pet services, pet products, hosting pet activities, and education on various topics. This will be a day you will not want to miss out on!

Rita's on the River

Washington Wine & Spirits presents the third annual ‘Ritas on the River on April 21st from 10 am-4 pm. Last year was such a success we decided to go bigger! More tastings and more tickets!
The day will feature tastings from 8 different restaurants and bars from the area as they compete for bragging rights. Like us on Facebook at Downtown RiverMarket and Downtown Monroe for our event page to see who is participating and updates. You can vote your favorite to elect a People’s Choice Winner!
Your ticket will get you tastings from 9 restaurants and bars. The tastings will be from 11:00a to 3:00 pm and the competition for Best Margarita will be judged by local curators.
Braiz’ Bar & Grill, el Chile Verde West Monroe, Copeland’s of New Orleans, Don Tomas, Iron Cactus, Maui Tacos, Restaurant Cotton, Warehouse No.1, and Waterfront Grill will all be fighting for the tile of Best Margarita!
Shopping starts at 10 AM and goes till 4pm.
There will be live music, food trucks, snacks, salsa, sauces, and shopping you won’t want to miss out on!

Brewfest

The third annual event is presented by The News-Star and DeltaStyle Magazine and will take place on June 2nd at the Downtown River Walk from 6-9 PM.
Come down to the Riverwalk to sample over 200 different beers from Choice Brands, Marsala Beverage,International Wine & Spirits, Ouachita Brewing Co., Flying Tiger Brewery, and a variety of homebrewers. For the non beer drinkers, enjoy wine samples from Landry Vineyards!
Your ticket gets you access to all the great beer and wine you could desire and live music on The Chapel Tattoo stage! Johnny’s Pizza House, The Cheezie Rider, and Iantha Thomas will be on site serving up delicious food during the event.

Bloody Mary Fest

The Fall season of the Downtown RiverMarket brings the Bloody Mary Festival!  Flock to the river  as the area’s top restaurants compete for the title of Best Bloody Mary!  Each competing bartender will prepare samples of their signature Bloody Mary and serve to ticket holders.  It is free to attend the market on this day, but only ticket holders access bloody mary samples.  The day also offers quality vendors as well as food, music, and activities that truly compliment the highlighted beverage.

Louisiana Food and Music Festival

The LA Food & Music Festival is hosted by the Downtown RiverMarket and is a festival to truly highlight the rich culture and talent in the area and Louisiana at large.  Music and food that truly gives tribute to Louisiana is highlighted along with the many talented musicians, artisans, and chefs who keep the area vibrant!  There will be multiple stages spread throughout Downtown Monroe to give a multitude of musicians an opportunity to perform.  This is a family friendly event with activities for children during the day.  Food, music, artisans, local vendors, and spirits will carry the day into the evening.

Christmas in Domo

Get ready for Christmas in DōMo presented by Lagniappe Media at the Origin Bank RiverMarket this Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 4 pm! Throughout the day you can hear the jolly sounds of Christmas music while you prepare to battle in the Ugly Sweater Contest. Be sure to dress up your furry friend for the Christmas Pet Pageant. Hear the joyful noise of carolers while kiddos participate in activities. It's a day of fun for the whole family! There will be plenty of shopping with food and drinks to enjoy. Stop in early to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They will be visiting from 11am-1pm before heading to their workshop.

This free concert series, hosted by the Downtown Monroe Alliance, will feature the Josh Love Band and Jonathon “Boogie” Long on the Skent-N-Dent Stage in downtown’s Henry Bry Park.Choice Brands will have free beer samples while Restaurant Cotton serves cold beverages and the Main Street Eats on the Geaux food truck offers delicious eats from a special menu just for the Downtown River Jam. And for the kids, Macaroni Kid will be on hand with fun activities!

Downtown River Jam Mardi Gras 2017

Jim Taylor Auto Group presents the Downtown River Jam Mardi Gras Party on Saturday
February, 18th from 5pm to 9pm at the Old Coke building at 305 Walnut St. in downtown Monroe, LA.
Come celebrate Mardi Gras with live music by Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas on the Skent-N-Dent stage a full bar, free beer samplings by Choice Brands and more.
A $10 ticket to this event allows you to be out of the cold February wind with access to bathrooms on site while you wait for the Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade!
